Brown, the catalyst for everything, gone now but never ever forgotten

An exceptionally large female lion who allowed us to get no more than a few of metres away after spending a couple of hours with her, proving once again patience is the key.

A Leopard called Olorian in Masai an African olive tree. A tree that only leopards can climb which is a symbol of peace, health, and friendship.

Taken in the north conservancy of the Mara three brothers just minding their own business and allowing us to get very close in order to capture this beautiful image.

I know hyenas get a rough deal but we were lucky enough to spend over an hour with this clan of about twenty adults and cubs at first light and to be so close watching them interact with each other was a real treat.

A big but very passive bull that allowed me to get out of the truck on lake Amboseli which was bone dry and get this shot which is a personal favourite of mine.

Harry the Hippo a name given by my wife Jaqueline. Taken out of the truck whilst lying on the banks of the Mara river with William our guide making all manner of wheeze honks, grunts, bellows, and squeals.

We all seek leaders we can trust, and baboons are no exception.

We had been looking for this image for three days, and it was on the way to the airstrip on our last day Daniel said ‘I know where there are three retired and very angry Generals".
