I know hyenas get a rough deal, but we were lucky enough to spend over an hour with this clan of about twenty adults and Cubs at first light. To be so close whilst observing them interact with each other was a real treat but Hannibal without doubt stood out from the crowd. Not sure if he’s laughing, snarling, or just posing as I capture the image.
